ABSTRACT: This study explores strategies for addressing the needs of diverse learners in vocational settings, focusing on creating inclusive educational environments that cater to varying learning styles and backgrounds. The objectives were to (1) identify the specific needs of diverse learners in vocational education, (2) evaluate the effectiveness of current inclusive practices, and (3) propose strategies to enhance the inclusivity of vocational training programs. A survey design was chosen to collect data from students, educators, and administrators to gain insights into the challenges and successes of addressing learner diversity. The sample size comprised 200 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to include a broad range of experiences and perspectives. The case study was conducted in Kano State, Nigeria, known for its ethnically and culturally diverse population. Findings indicated that diverse learners faced challenges such as language barriers, varying educational backgrounds, and different learning preferences. Current inclusive practices were found to be partially effective but lacked consistency and comprehensive implementation. Recommendations included developing tailored instructional materials, providing professional development for educators on inclusive teaching strategies, and fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages collaboration and respect for diversity.
